Main activities were developed in three areas: Review and technical support for POPs/PCBs burning in Rotary Cement Kiln at Best Way (ex-Lafarge) Plant, at Kallar Kahar in Pakistan. Review of the existing legal and regulatory framework for POPs and Hazardous Chemicals and waste Management. Proposal of an Integrated Management Scheme. Support for upgrading POPs Laboratory capacity and international certification (ISO/IEC 17.025) at the Ministry of Climate Change.
